A Victorian silver vesta case with decorative floral and scroll detail shown in relief. Hinged lid, stamped 'sterling' to inner rim and with striking panel to underside. Monogrammed 'RJH' for Robert John Hall, from Booton, Norfolk, who was Lance Corporal in 2nd Norfolk Regiment, British Army and died in service aged 31 in December 1915. Approx. 7cm x 4cm and weighs approx. 17.2g.
